Daily Death Report - A Steins;Gate animatic

A while back, I made a comprehensive scenario related to Steins;Gate as a creative exercise called “Intrepid Valkyrie”, the first project of which being character-designs for the main heroes, (which you can find here)[/art/cd-steins-gate-intrepid-valkyrie/].

This is the second project for the same creative exercise, not only serving as an “origin story” of sorts for the protagonist but also attempting to answer some lingering questions from Steins;Gate itself from a fan’s perspective.

I not only did the storyboard and animatic for it, but also wrote an actual screenplay for it, which can be downloaded through here (link unavailable temporarily).

I did the thumbnails for the storyboard in Krita then went right onto creating the animatics in Blender with Grease Pencil. I created a custom set of shaders for it too. (Note from the future: By the time I made this, Storypencil wasn’t out or fully stable yet. My future works will utilize Storypencil due to its convenience.)
